CHRISTMAS BLOG

Christmas is not only about receiving gifts but is also about giving gifts. Gifts can come in many different ways not just bought in a store. The most meaningful gifts are given from the heart without expecting anything in return. Please comment on the nicest gift you gave someone leading up to Christmas. Please comment on two of your classmates posts.

  1. I believe that the nicest gift that I ever gave to someone was when I told my mom on christmas day that I loved her, but during the time I told her she was out of work and I told her that its still the most merriest and magical christmas of all when we are all together. So with those words I feel like I gave her a bit of confidence.

  2. It is amazing how the nicest and most heart felt words can not only make your mother feel great but also make you feel good about yourself.

  3. The most meaningful gift I ever gave would have to be to mom. When she was sick with the flu and she couldn't decorate the house, but I knew she wanted to because she loves Christmas and decorating. So my sister and I went out and decorated the whole house, we went all out! My mom saw and she was just so happy and just made me feel great.

  4. The most meaningful Christmas gift I have ever gave to anyone has been the gift of love to my whole family. On Christmas Eve little do we realize how much the people you love presence's make a huge difference and puts the biggest smile on your/their face. So dont forget to show you care and express you feelings because blood will always be thicker than water. :)

#1. Telling someone you love them even if they are the closest person to them is the most beautiful gift that can ever be given and on top of that it is one of the most meaningful and it will brighten a person up coming year.
#2. Realizing what others appreciate and making something impossible become possible is an amazing and humble impression. So always take the people who surround you into concideration because it makes and enormous difference as we see. :)
    HAPPY HOLIDAYS GOD BLESS :)

  5. I believe that the nicest gift I gave anybody was my grandpa. I went to sit next to him and i gave him a hug! & in return he hugged me back and told me he loved me.This was really meaningful to me because my grandpa doesn't say I love you,but for him to tell me, it was very touching and even made my eyes watery! I'm such a baby!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Everybody!!

  6. George- That was really nice of you and your sister! I bet that made your mom feel all the much better seeing the house decorated.I'm sure you didn't mind decorating the house either since you love Christmas! I hope your mom is feeling better!

Sora101- Everybody loves hearing I love you, its always a good thing to hear. Even if you already know that that person loves you, its still GREAT to hear. If you don't hear I love you often when you do hear it, its going to really affect you!

  7. I think the nicest gift I gave was to my family when I made them all happy and proud of me for changing so much. Before I use to screw up in school which made them all upset, and when I saw how sad they were it made me feel bad. But now I've changed for the better and they're all proud of me and tell me so every day, and it makes me feel good. But it even makes me feel better knowing that I did it for them, because for many years they gave me and did great things for me, while I didn't do the same. But now, I can say that I finally did something for them, I became the person they believed I could be and did it for them, for it was my way in showing them that I'm thankful for all they did for me. That's my greatest gift to my family, a change in me that's for the better, a change that has made them all happy, and that makes me happy.

  8. I believe the nicest gift I ever gave was to whole family. I made a video of pictures from birthdays, special events, and other random things during the year. I presented it to my family during Christmas, and they all laughed at the silly pics, discussed the memorable pics, and enjoyed the movie. It made me feel great because I showed how much I cared about my family, and I showed them that no matter how far we live from each other we still find ways to meet and make amazing memories that last a lifetime.

  9. David, I like your present that you gave. It shows that you have a good mind for your family, and enough maturity to realize that your not doing something right and so you change your ways. Good Job!

Kiara I like the way think. You always have inspirational stories in Health and amazing comments on alot of things. I like your comment and completely agree with you. My family is amazing, I love them alot. Even if I don't get something I like, I pretend that I do for there satisfaction. Good Comment!

  12. I feel in love with Moyetts story because very few people feel loved especially in families because of the problems that our planet carries and so it is nice to have a reminder of who is on your side and will always love you tell the end

  13. i think that the best gift i ever gave someone on christmas was the gift i gave my step dad this christmas actually. when i was about 7 years old i made him a small card with crayons and markers and stickers and all those funny things a lil girl would use to make a card and i gave it to him that christmas. well this year i stumbled upon it one day when i was cleaning and i decided to give it to him again ((but with some other little presents this year so anyways...)) when i gave it to him we both teared and i hugged him that same instant because of how happy i was. the little card only fitted a little message but i still meant what i said about 8 years ago. and the exact words [[cuz i got it with me right now]] were "Daddy, i know you might not be my real daddy but you tell me you love me more than my real dad ever did... and to me, you are my real daddy... i love you. -from your step daughter, sandra"

jazzy: i love your comment because it reminds me of my grandfathers, i love them to death!. i barely see my granddad from my moms side because he lives in mexico but whenever i do see him im overwhelmed with joy because he sees me and he has a huge smile on his face and it make me tear. and the same with my grandfather on my step dads side of the family, i see him weekly and i love seeing him because hes like a second dad to me :)

  15. The best gift i ever gave someone was a homemade shelf carved with my dad's name on it. When i showed him the gift he was amazed. He wouldn't think i would take so much time on his present. As I explained to him that it doesn't matter how much time i spent on a gift, whats important is that you cared for me and gave me a good education and love.

  16. probably the best gift that i gave was to my mom, it was a small replica of our house made out of cardboard and colored in and even though it was made out of cardboard,my mom was so surprised at how detailed it was.

  17. One of the nicest gifts I gave to someone was one where my grandma was in the hospital and then I visited her and sang Christmas Carols to her. I also played some games with her and we had a wonderful time.

#1 In response to Xavier's post, I think that a special gift sometimes doesn't come from how expensive it is, but out of the time that you took to make it and make it out of your heart. That is a very nice gift.

#2 In response to Kiara's post, I think that giving love to people will be remembered far longer than a gift. I really like what your gift was.

  18. The best gift I have ever given anyone was my mom. This x-mas we were arguing we stopped talking for about 11 days even though we weren't talking I still gave her a hug & kiss & told her "Iloveyou."

1.Emmitt: "I love you" those are some magical words. & its true when your whole family comes together the whole meaning comes along.

2.George: That was very sweet of you. I bet she had a huge smile on her face. It's amazing how just doing small things like that lighten up people.

  20. The best Christmas gift I ever gave to someone was company. Last Christmas eve I went with my grandma to work she works as a nurse at a nursing home and on Christmas eve there were so many families there visiting. There was a group elderly people sitting by the TV watching Christmas movies, they were secluded from the other people and I decided to sit with them while my grandma worked. I was with them for four hours and it was amazing, we played card games and shared Christmas memories. When my grandma came to get me, they thanked me for keeping them company. It really made my Christmas eve to see them smile.

    1. Sandra: Your comment made me literally "aw". That's so nice, they say homemade gifts are the ones that mean the most & if someone gave me a card like that (especially if it brought back memories from when they were little) I would cry too.

    2. Pita: Aw, i know how hard it was for you when you and your mom weren't talking. & putting your differences aside and still letting your mom know you love her even when you're fighting really says a lot about you.

  22. One of the most meaningful gifts that I've given to someone would be my mom. Lately my mom has been having really bad back pains and she is always tired. One weekend I decided to put up the christmas tree and decorations, do the laundry, clean the house up, etc. She came home from work and was really happy.

Sam: That's really nice of you, I'm pretty sure that your grandmother will never forget the time you visited her in the hospital.
Sandra: That's really sweet, and I'm glad that you and your stepfather have been very accepting of each other. Sometimes it's good to bring back old memories to share them with people again.

  23. The nicest gift I ever gave somebody was last year, a week before christmas and my grandma wasnt feeling to well. So I decided to help her out for the day since she has always helped me out through my entire life. I felt better about myself for repaying my grandma for what she has done for me.

  24. I don't really celebrate Christmas but I think the greatest gift I've ever gave to someone would be as secret Santa in eighth grade, was a pair of binoculars but found out the person really wanted them so I felt like I made someone really happy.

    1. David: I think that was a very nice gift because you cared for your family, enough to change your personality and be a better person.

    2. Sam: Very nice gift as well Sam, your grandmother must've been very happy to see you care for her and entertain her.

  25. The nicest thing i ever gave someone for christmas was my love towards the family. During that time we were all having family problems and there was alot of arguing and fighting. But during christmas i decided to be the bigger person and spread love towards everyone. I started to warm people hearts when i did this and i made christmas better with the family that day.

Erika: that is so sweet of you. People in those homes are sometimes sad and seeing a young soul in their presence probally made their day.

Josue- The gift you gave was really nice. You showed the good happy times with your family in a simple yet creative way. It really shows that the best part about being family, that happy memories last forever, just like family.
Lupita(:- Your gift was really great, it truely shows caring about other people needs instead of your own really says that you're not selfish. And that really one of the greatest gifts of all is spreading joy and happiness while sacrifacing your own and ask nothing for in return.
